The airy cotton mesh reliably protects against flies and other insects without restricting natural air circulation around the horse's body. The open structure promotes ventilation and provides a pleasant cooling effect on warm days. When the blanket is dampened, the evaporating moisture additionally supports a cooling effect. Cotton feels soft on the skin, is breathable, and naturally anti-static – particularly pleasant for sensitive horses. Another advantage: cotton fibers gain additional tear resistance when wet. This way, the blanket combines natural comfort with high functionality and is ideal for warm days in the pasture, paddock, or during transport.
Machine washable at 40 °C on a gentle cycle. We recommend a mild delicate detergent or a specialized horse blanket detergent. Fabric softener should be avoided to preserve the natural properties of the cotton fibers. Allow to air dry afterward.
