Traditional cooler rug made from 100% boiled wool, a true all-rounder for stable and transport. Valuable and durable thanks to unique properties that only wool provides.

Optimal freedom of movement through anatomical fit, prevents uncomfortable friction and chafing. edging made from 100% cotton, optionally with genuine sheepskin trim at the withers. All CHVX*N rugs are equipped with a front closure and a removable tail strap. Optionally, you can order your rug with a simple belly girth, cross girth, and leg straps - select your desired configuration and add it to your cart along with your rug.

Heavy quality. Exceptionally durable and gentle on skin and coat. Natural fibre instead of polyester or fleece — the fabric sheds no microplastics in the wash.

Material: 100% wool

Wool is naturally temperature-regulating, breathable, and moisture-wicking. It absorbs moisture without feeling wet quickly, creating a pleasantly dry climate on the horse's back. At the same time, it warms in cold conditions and provides temperature balance in warmer weather. Thanks to its natural lanolin content, boiled wool is water and dirt repellent, odor-resistant, and particularly easy to care for. Its dense, robust structure makes it durable and resilient – ideal for horses that deserve the highest comfort combined with natural functionality.

Our wool blankets can be easily washed 1–2 times a year on a cold wool cycle in the washing machine. Use only a re-greasing wool detergent for this.

Coarse dirt can usually be simply brushed out. Another advantage of wool: odours naturally dissipate, so frequent washing is not necessary.

Between washes, we also recommend regular care with lanolin to maintain the natural properties of the wool.
