Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement – for example by letter or e-mail.

You may use the model withdrawal form set out below, but you are not obliged to do so.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of the cheapest standard delivery we offer, without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.

For the refund we will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied proof of having sent them back, whichever is the earlier.

You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods where that loss results from handling which was not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

In particular, there is no right of withdrawal for goods made to your individual specifications or clearly tailored to your personal needs.

At Chevaux Nature this applies in particular to:

• rugs and saddle pads made to your individual measurements
• colours from the CHVX*N Colour Collection that are not regularly offered in the shop
• individual embroidery and personalisation

This does not affect orders in our standard sizes and in the colours regularly offered in the shop.

For those items the statutory right of withdrawal applies without restriction – including when we make the item for you only after your order has come in.

Voluntary return within 30 days

Beyond your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we voluntarily offer you the option of returning suitable items within 30 days of receipt – reduced items included.

Excluded from this voluntary return option are products made or personalised individually for you, in particular:

• rugs and saddle pads made to your individual measurements
• colours from the CHVX*N Colour Collection that are not regularly offered
• individual embroidery and personalisation
• gift vouchers

For a voluntary return after the statutory 14-day withdrawal period has expired, the goods must be unused, undamaged and complete.

Your statutory right of withdrawal and your statutory warranty rights remain entirely unaffected by this.

In particular, within the statutory withdrawal period you may examine the goods to the same extent as you could in a shop.

Refunds

As soon as your return reaches us, we will inspect the goods and inform you by e-mail of their arrival and of the next steps.

Where a refund is due, it will as a rule be credited to the payment method originally used.

In the case of a voluntary return after the statutory withdrawal period has expired, we reserve the right to refuse the return or to take an appropriate reduction in value into account if the item is returned used, damaged or incomplete.

Reduced items

Reduced items can be returned too. The same statutory rights of withdrawal and the same conditions of our voluntary 30-day return apply to them as to items at the regular price.

Exchange

As a rule we offer a direct exchange for defective or damaged items.

If you would like to exchange an item for the same item, please contact us first at info@chevaux-nature.com.

Your statutory rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected, of course.

You bear the cost of the return, unless statutory provisions state otherwise.

For higher-value items in particular we recommend sending them with tracking. Please keep the proof of postage until the return has been completed.

Returns from countries outside the European Union
Please mark the parcel clearly as a return (“returned goods”) on the waybill and enclose a copy of your invoice. Declared correctly, the shipment is treated as returned goods and no duties or import VAT arise on re-entry.

Costs caused by an incorrect declaration — duties, import VAT or customs handling fees — are not borne by us and will be set off against a refund. We cannot accept carriage-forward parcels or parcels with charges outstanding.
