Shipping to Germany / European Union

The stated delivery time applies from the date your item is completed. Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays or public holidays. Items with different delivery times will be shipped together; in such cases, the longer delivery time applies.

Shipping within Germany and the EU is free for orders over EUR 100. The amount required for free shipping is always calculated in euros; conversion into other currencies therefore depends on the current exchange rate.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an automatic email from DHL or DHL Express with your tracking information. Please note that we have no influence over customs clearance procedures or other processes that may cause delivery delays.

Shipping to Switzerland

Shipping to Switzerland is carried out with the leading logistics provider DHL. We carefully prepare all documents to ensure smooth customs clearance.
The shipping cost per parcel is EUR 26.99.

Upon receipt of our goods, you are additionally required to pay 8.1% import VAT on the value of the goods including shipping costs.
We currently operate under German tax law as a small business (in accordance with Section 19 (1) of the German VAT Act). Therefore, we do not currently charge VAT on our items. Consequently, for customers in Switzerland, this means that we do not deduct German VAT at a rate of 19% from the individual item prices on our export invoices.

In addition, you are required to pay fees for import customs clearance. According to our research, these currently amount to CHF 13 for customs clearance services plus 3% of the value of the goods.

The delivery time is approximately 4–7 days from completion of the item(s). Please note that no deliveries are made on Sundays or public holidays. Items with different delivery times will be shipped together; the longer delivery time applies.

Please note that additional costs may apply upon receipt of our goods:

  1. Import duties:
    The amount of duties depends on the value of the goods and the respective product category. For certain items, such as textiles, duties may apply that are calculated as a percentage of the total value (including shipping).
  2. Import VAT:
    Depending on the import regulations of your country, VAT or sales tax may be charged on the total value of the goods including shipping.

  3. Customs clearance fees:
    In some cases, DHL may charge processing or customs clearance fees. The exact costs vary depending on the country and the value of the goods.

As the recipient, you are responsible for paying all duties, taxes, and fees incurred upon import into your destination country. We carefully prepare all necessary customs documents to ensure a smooth process.

Invoicing & Tax Information

As Chevaux Nature operates as a small business under German tax law (Section 19 (1) of the German VAT Act), our invoices are issued net – meaning that German VAT (19%) is not shown. This does not affect customs clearance or any taxes payable in your country.

Delivery Times & Tracking

  • Delivery times:
    Depending on the destination country, delivery usually takes place within 7–21 business days from dispatch. Please note that regional public holidays and customs clearance processes may cause delays.

  • Tracking:
    Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an automatic email from DHL or DHL Express with your tracking number. Please note that we have no influence over customs clearance procedures or other processes that may cause delivery delays.
